Spicy Curried Sweet Potato Fries

These fries are exactly what you need for a gloomy day. They’re crispy, spicy, and not to mention so easy to make.

TOTAL TIME: 40 minutes SERVINGS: 4-6 INGREDIENTS: 2 large sweet potatoes or yams 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon za'atar 1 teaspoon curry powder 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more/less to taste) 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 3-4 tablespoons olive oil Sour cream (optional for serving) Lemon wedges (optional for serving) Cilantro (optional for serving) RECIPE:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425° F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and spray it with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.

  2. Cut your sweet potatoes or yams into 1/4 inch wedges. Then toss your sweet potatoes in olive oil. Then add all of the spices. Add more/less to your liking.

  3. Lay the potatoes flat on your baking sheet. Try and make sure none of them are touching. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Turn the oven off and let the potatoes stay in there for an extra 5-10 minutes to get extra crispy. Serve with sour cream, lemon wedges, and cilantro.
